The Hook Room finds the moment that grabs you in long videos, podcasts and streams, and turns it into a short vertical clip for TikTok.
What we do
The Hook Room is a small, independent short-form channel on TikTok at @thehookroomcom. We take long-form content that we have the right to clip, find the strongest moments, reframe them to 9:16, add readable captions, and publish them to our own TikTok account.
Find the hook
We pick the few seconds that make you stop scrolling, and keep the context that makes them make sense.
Cut it clean
Vertical framing that follows the speaker, captions you can read with the sound off, and no watermarks or logos added to the video.
Post it honestly
Paid or promotional clips carry TikTok's content disclosure, and AI-generated content is labelled as AI-generated.
Our posting tool
We use a small in-house tool, connected through TikTok's official Login Kit and Content Posting API, to upload finished clips to the TikTok account @thehookroomcom. It only connects to the account that signs in to it, and it only posts after a person has reviewed the clip and chosen its settings. See how it works.
Rights and permissions
We only clip content we are allowed to use: our own material, content whose owners have given permission, or content published for clipping under a creator's clipping programme. If you own content we posted and want it removed, message us on TikTok and we will take it down.
