Terms of Service

These terms cover the website at thehookroom.pages.dev and The Hook Room's posting tool (together, the "Service"). The Service is run by the creator behind the TikTok account @thehookroomcom ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service is

The Hook Room makes short vertical video clips and publishes them on TikTok. The posting tool connects to a TikTok account through TikTok's official Login Kit and Content Posting API so that finished clips can be uploaded to that account. The tool is operated by us for our own TikTok account; it is not offered as a public sign-up service.

2. Your TikTok account

To connect a TikTok account you sign in on TikTok and approve the permissions shown. You must own the account or be authorised to manage it. You can disconnect the tool at any time in your TikTok app settings. Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. Content and rights

Only content you have the right to publish may be posted. You are responsible for the clips, captions and settings you choose, including commercial-content disclosure and AI-generated content labels. We do not claim ownership of content posted to your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to post unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content, to impersonate anyone, to break TikTok's rules, or to interfere with the Service or with TikTok's systems.

5. Removal requests

If you believe a clip published by The Hook Room uses your content without permission, message @thehookroomcom on TikTok with a link to the clip and we will review it and remove it where appropriate.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and may change, pause or stop at any time. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service, or for the availability or behaviour of TikTok's platform.

8. Not affiliated with TikTok

The Hook Room is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok. TikTok is a trademark of its owners.
